The Board consists of not more than 24 persons, appointed by the Head of the  Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure as shown below. 
 
The  Board is managed operationally, on a day to day basis, by a team led by the Chief Executive assisted by the middle management team of Deputy  Chief Executive, Fisheries Manager/Inspector and the Financial, Personnel and Administrative Support Manager, who in turn supervise the permanent staff of 15 Fisheries Conservation Officers, 4 Administrative Officers and 1 Administrative Assistant.
